About US
T&DI was created by the ASCE Board of Direction to help meet the technical needs of the Society’s members whose practice is focused in the areas of transportation engineering and land planning and development. T&DI began operation on October 1, 2002 as ASCE’s 7th technical specialty institute.
Our HISTORY
Established in 2002, the Transportation & Development Institute (T&DI) is one of the nine technical institutes of ASCE. Representing the community of transportation professionals and expertise within the 160,000+ strong global membership of the Society, T&DI serves as the home for all transportation & development-related activities at ASCE.
