The Future City Competition is a transformative, project-based learning experience that asks 6th, 7th, & 8th graders to imagine, design, and build cities of the future. Student teams spend four months building a futuristic model to showcase to engineering judges and have a chance to present at nationals in Washington D.C.
ASCE Miami-Dade was delighted to hear about the amount of additional submissions this year and donated $1000 in their name to the Florida International University - College of Engineering who host and coordinate the event! Thank you to Dr. Mohammed, dean John L Volakis, FIU students and volunteers, FES and CAACE for a successful collaboration event!
