Hurricane Irma devastated Florida, just as many were still recovering from Harvey in Houston, TX. My prayers are with those who have suffered and have lost something valuable due to these natural disasters. Hurricane Irma damaged a large portion of the state, making landfall on the Florida Keys as a Category 4 Hurricane on Sunday morning.
The branch is meeting and gathering efforts with the local members and engineering societies to bring the community back to normal or as close to normal as possible. We would appreciate any messages requesting assistance so that we can provide adequate help where needed the most. Email us at email@example.com.
In the meantime, feel free to donate to the Florida Disaster Fund.
The Florida Disaster Fund is the State of Florida’s official private fund established to assist Florida’s communities as they respond to and recover during times of emergency or disaster.
