Mr. Rodriguez is the Estimator Engineer for Americaribe, LLC. Mr. Rodriguez's breadth of experience includes specializations in structural and geotechnical design. He holds a M.S. in Civil Engineering a B.S. in Civil Engineering and a B.S. in Architectural Engineering from the University of Miami.

Secretary - Kumar Vedula, PE

Mr. Vedula is a Florida-Registered Professional Engineer with 22 years of geotechnical and construction materials testing experience.  He specializes in geotechnical projects involving foundation design, slope stability analysis, WEAP analysis and interpreting PDA reports, excavation support, and construction inspection. Additional experience includes foundation inspections (shallow and deep foundations), soil modification (dynamic compaction, stone columns), preloading, excavations, backfilling, and post construction monitoring. Kumar has served as a principal inspector on numerous surcharging and settlement evaluations of organic laden soils assignments.  His project experience includes over 20 high rise buildings, as well as foundation engineering for bridges, roadways, utilities, schools and government facilities. Authored and co-authored papers published in national and international conferences.

Treasurer - Nick Syriopoulos

Nick Syriopoulos is Business Development Manager for Keller Foundations (ex-Hayward Baker) in Hollywood, FL. 
He is a member of ASCE and holds a BS and MS in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering from Georgia Tech. Mr. Syriopoulos has over 30 years geotechnical construction engineering and management experience. He is specialized in ground improvement methods, specialty grouting, as well as underpinning and excavation support. He used to be a Professional Engineer in the State of Texas and a certified General Contractor in Florida.  
In the past, he has managed two companies mining, processing and distributing industrial minerals overseas.

Board Member - Cristina Gonzalez, PE

Cristina Gonzalez, is a Senior Principal and Senior Vice President with Langan Engineering & Environmental Services, and the Principal-in-Charge of Langan’s South Florida operations. She has 35 years of engineering experience of which 33 have been in geotechnical engineering at Langan. Ms. Gonzalez has performed numerous geotechnical engineering studies, most of which have been for high-rise projects along Florida’s coast, in South Florida’s urban core, or projects with difficult ground conditions. Her work on numerous projects has resulted in groundbreaking technical solutions and “first-time-ever” techniques used in testing piles and in designing foundations. These solutions and systems are now a standard of practice in the geotechnical field in South Florida and beyond.

Ms. Gonzalez received a Master of Engineering degree in Geotechnical Engineering from Cornell University (Ithaca, N.Y.), and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Miami. She has been an adjunct professor at the University of Miami, and a guest lecturer at Florida International University, Florida Atlantic University, and Miami-Dade College.

Board Member - Garfield Wray, PE

Mr. Wray is a Vice President at NV5.  He has 35 engineering experience and has provided geotechnical engineering services for a wide variety of projects including commercial and residential buildings up to 93 stories tall, air and marine ports, bridges, roadways and other infrastructure developments, industrial facilities including LNG terminals, oil and bauxite refineries, and water and wastewater treatment plants.  He has worked on projects throughout the United States including California, Florida, Louisiana, Texas, the mid-Atlantic States, and the New York/New Jersey/New England areas.  He has also worked extensively throughout the Caribbean.  He holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of the West Indies, and a Master of Engineering in Geotechnical Engineering from Howard University in Washington D.C.  He is a registered professional engineer in California and Florida, a Diplomate Geotechnical Engineer of the ASCE’s Academy of Geo-Professionals, and a member of the Deep Foundations Institute.
